ISWAI celebrated its 38th anniversary in flying colors on February 6 at Glenview Banquets, in front of a packed audience.
The event was graced by the Consul General of India, Mr. Somnath Ghosh, IAS, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Ghosh commended ISWAI for its active and meaningful engagement with the broader community, noting that the association stands out by going beyond the role of a traditional social organization.

Mr. Jahmal Cole, Founder and CEO of My Block My Hood My City, delivered the keynote address. ISWAI President Linson Thomas presented the welcome speech, followed by the vote of thanks delivered by Jose Kolencherry. The evening was smoothly emceed by Jasmin Mathew and Jojo Oliyapurath.

During the meeting, retirees Stany Desouza and Joseph Anthony were specially honored in recognition of their decades of dedicated service to the field of social work. The association also recognized Benny Kanjirampara, Jose Anamala, Sabi Kolath, and Saju Philip on the occasion of their professional promotions.

Lince Thannichuvattil was honored for successfully completing the Licensure in Clinical Social Work. In addition, the outgoing ISWAI executive committee, under the leadership of former President Jino John, was recognized for its committed service and leadership.

Kerala drum fusion, vibrant dance performances, live singing, and music by DJ Soodh kept the audience entertained, making it a truly fun-packed and memorable evening.
